The Somos Acha group commissioned the e c o team to carry out the general restoration of the façade of this late 19th century residential building and the restoration of the interior ironwork. The comprehensive rehabilitation project necessarily involved several modifications to the spatial configuration; however, the façade maintained its original language.

The façade intervention consisted of the restoration of the masonry elements in the cornices and the jambs of the openings, as well as the consolidation of the metal elements and railings characteristic of the Porfirian era.

This mixed-use project has 37 apartments and 9 commercial spaces. The interior space is articulated around three courtyards whose original railings, beams, columns and planters are characteristic of the architectural housing party of the late 19th century. Therefore, it was necessary to intervene with restoration techniques and criteria.
