In the Historic Center, a few meters from the Zócalo, a restoration and restructuring work was carried out on the lobby of a heritage building. The use of the lobby represented a structural danger since the staircase suffered a partial collapse of the wooden beams that supported it. In addition, the steps were worn out by time, preventing its use. A new structural system was redesigned, integrating metal beams to reinforce and allow circulation. Structural and ornamental quarry elements in arches, walls and cornices that had been damaged were freed and reintegrated.
